This sounds so eerily similar to how my brother, a police officer, was killed. Our family is praying for the family of Officer Davis and for his co-officers, as well. This news hits so hard and, while I know your hearts are completely broken, you must be so incredibly proud of him. God bless you all.

"A Hero Is"

One Who Never Hesitates To Tackle The Most Difficult Problems..

One Who Is Always By Your Side..

One Who Knows Right From Wrong..

One Who Acts With Pride..

A Hero Touches Every One Of Us,

Whether It Be Word Or Deed..

Always Tending To Those Who Find Themselves In Need..

When A Hero Leaves This Earth, Yes, It's Sad, But True..

All Too Many Times, The Hero Is Dressed In Blue.

You will be miss Officer Davis, my prayers goes out to his family. God Bless
