My deepest sympathy to the family of fallen P.O. Tina Griswold. I had been following the story since it happened. I understand your grief and know that it is very hard to grasp that something like this should happen to your family. Police officers are like super hero's,they take on so much and carry their position with such honor. It takes a special person to choose this profession and that is what P.O. Tina Griswold was and still is to so many by what I have read. Lean on the support from the Police community, they are one of a kind. I pray for P.O. Griswold and the family to find peace in all that has taken place. She will never be forget, never.

Its so heartbreaking to hear of a tragedy that shouldn't have took place, but it did. I pass by that coffee shop quite often and would never imagine such kaos as this. My heart goes out to all the familys, friends and their co-workers. I feel so sad for the children to have to go on with the loss of a parent, as me myself knows how that feels, and my heart aches. My thoughts are with each and everyone of you. all to young to go, but we never know what lies ahead. I have great respect for the people putting themselves in active duty to help protect us. I so hope that the laws will change in this state, we are definately not tough enough and sad to say that it takes a horific tragedy like this, to maybe wake the sleeping giant. with all respect may you all rest in peace.

There is never preparation for this type of thing to happen to a police officer. But as a family member of a retired officer I can relate that every family member who has a loved one in law enforcement service, secretly waits for an event like this. The fear of a knock on your door or a phone call or a patrol car pulling into your driveway is always in the formost of your mind as your loved one goes off to another shift.
ay God Bless all of these officers their families. Thak You Officer Tina for your dedication.
The most important thing now is to show unwavering support to the families that have been left behind, as well as the fellow offices of these four officers.

My son-in-law is at the memorial today. My daughter is a deputy sheriff. They are both on the SWAT team. I can only imagine how I would feel if this were to happen to either of them. My heart aches and goes out to Tina's family. God bless you all. She died the bravest of the brave.

My Dearest Family and Friends

Somethings I'd like to say but first of all to let you know that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from Heaven where I dwell with Our Lord above. where there's no more tears or sadness just eternal Love. Please don't be unhappy because I'm out of sight, remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and Night.

The Day I had to leave you when my Life on earth was through God picked me up and hugged me and He said I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again, You were missed while you were gone. As for your Dearest Family they'll be here later on.
I need you here so badly as part of my big plan. Theres so much we have to do to help our Moral Man.
Then God gave me a list of things that He wished for me to do, and foremost on that list of mine is to watch and care for you.
I'll be beside you everyday and through out the years, And when your sad. I'm standing there to wipe away your tears.
When You lie in bed at night the day's chores put to flight God and I are close you in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on Earth and all the loving years, because your only human they are bound to bring you tears.

Please don't be afraid to cry, it does releive the pain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned, But if I were to tell you You wouldn't understand. One thing is for certain, though my life on Earth is over I'm closer to you now than I ever was before.

To My many Friends, Trust God knows what is best.I'm still not far away from you I'm just beyond the crest.

So, If you can help somebody who is in sorrow or in pain, then you can say to God at night my day was not in vain.
And now I am contented that with my life. it was worth while,Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.
If you meet somebody who is down and feeling low just lend a hand and pick him up as on your way you go.
When Your walking down the street and you've got me on your mind just know Im walking in your footstep only a half a step behind.
And if you feel a gentel breeze or wind upon your face thats me just giving you a great big hug or just a soft embrace.
I will always love you from the land way up above We'll be in touch again soon
PS God sends his Love.

His Judgment Day:
The officer stood and faced his God, Which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shinning, Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, Officer, How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek To my church have you been true?"
The officer squared his shoulder and said, "No, Lord, I guess I aint, Because those of us who carry badges can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was rough, And sometimes I've been violent Because the streets are tough.
But I never took a penny That wasn't mine to keep.. Though I worked a lot of overtime, when the bills got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help Though at times I shook with fear. And sometimes, God forgive me, I've wept an unmanly tear.
I know I don't deserve a place among the people here. They never wanted me around except to calm their fear.
If you've a place for me here, Lord, it needn't be so grand. I never expected or had too much, But if you don't...I'll understand.
There was silence all around the throne, where the saints often trod. As the officer waited quietly for the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, Officer. You've borne your burdens well. Come walk a beat on heaven's streets, You've done your time in hell"

Tina,

I still can't believe this happened to the four of you.

You were always like the big sister I never had. I will always remember you as a friend who cared to know what was going on in my life and willing to help.

I remember going to you new house for Thanksgiving in 2008 and how happy you were to cook for your friends and family. I also remember being district partners with you couple of years ago and you telling suspects that they could either deal with you the "Cute-Little-Cop" or me the "Big-Mean-Cop". Little did they know that you were the one they need to watch out for :)

Tina we miss and love you
