Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight,
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.

Thank you Officer Griswold for your service. My heart breaks for you and your family at this most difficult time. To Tiffany Ryan I can only express my deepest sadness as I watched you on Fox news this morning I heard in your voice the pain that I had felt 4 years ago. I know how you are feeling and I want to let you know that I will be praying for you and your family. It feels as though a part of you has died and it is hard to put one foot in front of the other. I hope that you can feel her presence with you and find peace in her memory always. God Bless you and God Bless Officer Tina Griswold.

I am sorry that the suspect would kill a cop for the sake of it. Why did it have to happen so soon before Christmas? I know that in a case like this we are told that we should have in our hearts to forgive. I have a hard time forgiving something as brutal as this. I will pray for the families of you and your fellow officers.
