I am very saddened today to learn of Dans passing. I only had the opportunity to meet him on a couple of occassions through a mutual friend but was very impressed by his love for his family and his friends. He was such a kind man and I know that this is a tremendous loss to his family. On the occassions that I had to visit with Dan he spoke of how much his family meant to him and how fortunate he was to have a beautiful and loving wife and 2 great kids. You could tell that he was so proud of them. My heart and prayers goes out to his family. I am truly sorry for your loss.

My heart is sadden that yet another officer has lost his life doing what he loved to do. My heart goes out to the agency and to the family of Officer Leach. The untimely death of this hero is so tragic. We have lost officers from our agency in the past, but to lose two with in a two day period is so spooky. Everyone from your agency and this fine officer's family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dan, It was a pleasure to work with you in Laughlin. I can't believe I was just joking with you about retirement the day before you left us. You were a great reliable officer who always had a great attitude about the job. You will be sorely missed among our small Laughlin family. I don't know why you were taken so soon, but rest in peace in the arms of the Lord. And I pray for the Lord's comfort to your loving family and to all of us who mourn your loss.
