I send my love & prayers to Officer Nettleton's family-
So unfair-so cruel-so heartbreaking-makes me sick-what's wrong with some people-
It is not how they died that makes them a Hero-it's how they lived. Bless you Trevor
May God watch over your family and somehow someday bring peace to their hearts.

This hits close to home. Every one of us that wears the badge and goes to work everyday not knowing if it will be our last day on earth. We willingly accept that sacrifice. But to have it brought to your home front is something that should have never happened. Officer Nettleton, you paid the ultimate sacrifice protecting not only the citizens of Las Vegas, but your own family. God bless you brother, rest in peace.

To the family and friends of Officer Trevor Nettleton and his fellow officers:

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Trevor was tragically killed.

To Officer Nettleton's family, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in the Bay Area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace. My son Larry was also a Marine so I commend Trevor's service to his country in the Corps, and bid him semper fi.

To the officers of the LVMPD: Your department has suffered so many recent losses that it must be excrutiating to endure yet another blow. However, I know that the memory of your colleagues will continue to inspire you and that you will continue your and their legacy of protecting and serving, and that your badges are shining even brighter now in light of the enormous sacrifices of your friends.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Trevor gave to his community and the citizens of Nevada, and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on November 19, 2009.

I am mad, pissed off and just angry that one of my fellow brothers died at the hands of some worthless low life sacks of sh*t while he was at his own home. I hope these worthless turds rot in prison and when they finally pass on they burn in hell for eternity.

Officer Nettleton, Thanks Man. Thanks for wearing the badge and thanks for being one of the best. You will be missed. Now go walk the streets of gold buddy.

To the Nettleton family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I Will be praying for you.

May god bless you and give you peace.
