Words cannot adequately express how sorry I am for the tragic loss of Officer Trevor Nettleton. Such a loss is hard enough, but for it to happen in such an insidious manner is beyond belief. The depths of your sorrow, loss, and heartache are felt and shared by all who work in law enforcement. My thoughts and prayers are with Officer Nettleton's family and friends. My heart truly aches for their loss. My thoughts and prayers are also with Las Vegas Metro. Once again, the law enforcement community mourns the senseless loss of a fellow officer. That same community is extremely proud of his brave actions and dedication to public service. Officer Nettleton, keep an eye on all of us and rest easy, my brother. We have the watch.

Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel for the agency and the family of Officer Nettleton. It's bad enough when officers have to go to the streets and protect and serve all walks of life and die while doing the job that they love to do. However, for an officer to lose his life while in his own home/on his property is way beyond my understanding. Please know that everyone is in my prayers and deepest thoughts. To the children of this fine officer: Always remember that your dad died a HERO and that he is up in Heaven watching over you and your mom and that he loved you and will always love you. He shall live in your hearts forever. To Officer Nettleton: Go rest high on that mountain because you have served your time in Hell.
