To Tim's family and friends...I'm so very sorry for your loss. I was at the memorial service on Friday and my heart goes out to you and yours. I lost my brother last year in a domestic violence call in Fredericksburg VA. Everyone's pain is different, but the same in some way. If there is anything I can do you for you in your time of sorrow...please let me know. Please know you are all in our prayers everyday. May God welcome Tim into His kingdom and may God give you strength to get through this very difficult time.

Your fellow survivor...

Police Officer's Prayer to St. Michael

Saint Michael, heaven's glorious commissioner of police,
who once so neatly and successfully cleared God's premises
of all its undesirables, look with kindly and professional
eyes on your earthly force.

Give us cool heads, stout hearts, and uncanny flair for
investigation and wise judgement.

Make us the terror of burglars, the friend of children and
law-abiding citizens, kind to strangers, polite to bores,
strict with law-breakers and impervious to temptations.

You know, Saint Michael, from your own experiences
with the devil that the police officer's lot on earth is not
always a happy one; but your sense of duty that so
pleased God, your hard knocks that so surprised the
devil, and your angelic self-control give us inspiration.

And when we lay down our night sticks, enroll us in your
heavenly force, where we will be as proud to guard the
throne of God as we have been to guard the city of all
the people. Amen.

We miss you. Justice will be done.

Officer S. Parker

Officer Brenton, may you rest in peace. A grateful citizenry appreciates your selfless service.

To Officer Brenton's family - I live here in Federal Way. My brother was killed in an line-of-duty traffic accident a little over a year ago. I mourn with you. Please feel free to contact me if there's anything I or my family can do for you.

I can't know your pain, your trajedy; but I can share mine, and how and what we're doing to get through it.

May God bless you as you deal with the future. You'll never be alone; we revere as if it were sacred your right to privacy; but we also stand ready to assist, comfort, or just to be company should you ever wish.
