No words can be spoken or typed that will lessen the disbelief or sorrow felt by those in your life.

I can only say that your commitment, dedication and legacy should stand as an example for those who follow.

As your family, friends, fellow Reserve and full-time Officers/Deputies grieve your passing; they will continue to remember your kindness with a smile upon their face.

RIP brother .........
Some people wonder why so many Officers converge on towns across this nation, when an Officer is Killed In The Line Of Duty. I can simply say, that they come to pay respects to someone who did the job they do, in support of other Officers, as a show of respect to family, and to show Pride, Integrity and Honor for a fallen hero whose community has lost a friend. I have attended way to many of these but if you shed a tear for another, it will help cleanse your soul. It is the memories that will get you through the years.

Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death and though I mark on duty, my calls unknown, I fear no evil, for the majority are with me, nor do I worry of my own safety, all of this I do for the citizens of my community. An Officer’s family can be filled with worry and though they are strong, they know that their loved one may be placed in harms way. Through this, they stand tall, with Pride, Integrity and Honor.

Though I have made mistakes, accept me, as I accept you and show me the way …..Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
