My very deepest condolences to the Ray family and the Southamption County Sheriff's Office. I am so saddened to hear of another young officer to be taken from his family, friends and co-workers. My son was also 22 years old and just left us too soon. For Christopher's family, please know that time will make the pain lessen, but he will always be with you. I know the pain and I know it will get easier, but never better. Better for us left down here would be if they were still here with us. But he will always be watching down on you. Take comfort in knowing that God has great plans for him and only takes those worthy of patrolling Heaven.
I'm sure Christopher was doing what he loved doing, as also my Joshua. That is a somewhat comfort for me and I hope you are able to feel some comfort in that as well.
Blessings to you
