Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Robbie Chase Whitebird

I had the pleasure of being Whitebird's coach on the range, when he came back through CLEET a couple of months ago. It's hard to believe that a young man who was standing in front of me not so long ago, is gone. It sucks. Even though it was a short time ago, I feel pretty confident I would have remembered his name and face for a long while. (and that XD he carried) There aren't too many cadets I can say that about. What a marvelous and funny Deputy! I offer my sincerest condolences to the members of Chase's family and the SCSO.

I want to offer my condolences to this truly dedicated deputy and his family. It's a shame to hear that another officer has paid the ultimate sacrifice. A day after you were killed we celebrated a 2 year anniversary for a special officer that died in my department. He was the same exact age as you were. So full of life, could always cheer you up if you had a bad day.
