Growing up in a small town, I have known Dave and his family for many years. Dave was a special piece in our community, his dedication to serve was very apparent as a young man. It is a true honor to have known Dave, and espcially to watch his girls grow up.. Dave has always been their very own hero. He will be missed deeply.

I want to offer my condolences to this truly dedicated Officer and his family. It's a shame to hear that another officer has paid the ultimate sacrifice. We protect our communities from harm but take the risk of not coming home. I appreciate the service you have given us.
