You, the family and friends of Det. DiNardo, have lost a wonderful man, friend, father, and husband. Your loss is most unbearable and grief unfathomable. Nothing can console you except the knowledge that he was also a warrior and sometimes warriors give the ultimate sacrifice of their lives in the struggle to keep others free and safe. To, the coworkers of Jersey City PD, Det. DiNardo's service was a great reflection of the quality of your agency and it's mission to take "bad guys" off the streets of your community. We, in law enforcement across the land hurt with you at your loss, one of our comrades has fallen on the field of battle, we will miss him. May God give you peace and forebearance to endure what is before you.

Sincerely,

Dean S. Nyhart, Commander
