Sgt. Harris was one of many officers I met that showed me a lot. He was a instructor for the SCSD Citizens Police Academy 3 along with his Friend and co-worker Harley. He never acted like a instructor but as friend, a concerned person who knew we wanted to understand. He was so many things to so many people, a father, husband, friend and in the end a Hero. Though he touched my life but briefly, I found in him a man I was honored to meet and know for the time I was allowed.
