Joey was my friend, more like a brother.
We have known each other for years, worked together before law enforcement and as partners on shifts many, many nights.
If I ever needed anything he was there for me or my family. He gave time to law enforcement that should have been spent with his kids but he loved the job. His dedication is being carried on by both his son and daughter who are following in his footsteps. Now at the end of a career, he was ready to spend the lost time with his grandchildren and family, but it is not to be.
Joey you will be missed but never forgotten.
