Law enforcement officers never get enough credit for all that they do in and out of the public eye. Steve was a hero to us before this happened. Steve was a shinning example of the MHP. Seeing him in uniform at church when he was on duty reminded me of the type man is was. Duty was not far behing God and Family with Steve. We will miss you Steve! Our prayers are with all of your family and friends.

To ALL Steve's family: I was a friend, classmate and graduated from E.U. with Steve and spent many years in classes with him. I always thought a lot of him. He was always such a joker. I could hardly believe when he joined the MHP because I didn't think he could be that serious! It did seem to be his passion. I thank all the family for the years he spent trying to make this a better place to live.

To his mom, brothers and sisters: Please know that Steve was always well liked by classmates and was a dear friend. My thoughts and prayers are sent to our Father above on your behalf during your time of loss.

To his wife and children, I send my deepest prayers and ask God to comfort you as only HE can for the void that is left. I just wanted you to know how much I thought of him and was blessed to have been a part of his growing up years.
