Ned,
I still can’t bring myself to delete your cellphone number from my phone. Still remember the time we sang along to Springsteen’s “Jungleland” while sitting in the unmarked on the SNEU set. Always will remember you Big Country !

On this your 10th year in Heaven, rest easy my brother in blue. You have paid the price of Honor and sacrifice for all of us who owe you a great gratitude. May your loving family grow stronger each day for your great loss. Many of us who were there at the site will one day meet up with you. I know that it will my honor.

I worked with Ned at the 6th precinct. He was easy going, and always a gentleman. A real tragedy.

Ned you are a true hero. I pray that you are at peace & your family is well. It seems like only yesterday we went through the Police Academy in company 91-26. I was fortunate to run into you many times while working. Still with the same upbeat attitude. You have left a legacy for your family and our department. I was honored to have know you. I think about you often & miss you bud!

Tambem sou policial e me orgulho de minha profissão. Abraços a todos os colegas de todas as nações. Aqueles que lutam para manter a ordem e a paz em todas as comunidades de todas nações. Parabens a todos.

Sgt Thompson
Thank you for your heroic efforts on that day of disaster. My brother also passed away from the effects of that day back in Feb 2007. Not a day goes by without me thinking of Him. I know the sense of loss your family is going thru, it never goes away it just eases thru time. May you rest in peace, watch over us and guide us. We have one truly great force above us.
