Your heroism and service is honored today, the 21rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I pray for solace for those who love and miss you.

Officer Giles, I spoke to your wife for the first time today (1/29/02), and she spoke very highly of you even after 13 years that you've been gone, she told me a lot about you and the way you were. Your little girl turned 15 last week. Your wife and daughter are planning on going to Police Memorial this year and I am planning on meeting her.

Take care and God Bless you
