I have also been afraid to attend a funeral...I could not even attend my family members when they past away..it was very difficult....I simply showed my presence from across the road and offered my sympathy in prayer. I wa just heart broken to hear of "Corky" being gone. My visits with my brothers were to see the rest of the brothers a the sister that was extremely wonderful. I always saw this Corky in an out of the house ready to hang out with his friends or play football in his shorts ans tank top..the old look that was so popular back then...I thought of him as a sspectacular guy....he was 17 and I was 9...am man I saw something in him..just the way he spoke...he would bring out the greatest feeling in people...when he spoke with his parents ...to anyone.....and I said to myself then...boy this guy is meaning to everyone...he had so many friends that came by to pick him up or have a group of friends over...he is a great friend....he is going to be like a leader of something..I want to be a person like that......
Seeing everyone there to show respect..sympathy..friendhip..loyalty...did not surprise me at all...I expected it from a peron like Corky...I jut didn't expect the saying goodbye like this to such a wonderful man. Mr. & Mrs. McGuire and Family I will always keep you in my prayers . God Bless You !!!!!!
