We know you never planned a transfer from your agency, yet you have been called to the most elite of all agencies, Gods Police Department in Heaven. Consider that you are among the best of the best and your sacrifice was not in vain but is an asset to God and His kingdom. Know you will never be forgotten by your brothers and sisters in the badge still here and they will care for your family. No more hot calls, no more confrontationsd with the evil and unstable persons, only love and comfart in all your new callings. Rest in peace, may God bless you and all your family. In Christ.

D. Robert Harvey was a good friend. I remember when we were in the Academy together, he was not only one of the youngest in the group but also one of the most serious about serving his community. We talked frequently about why we got into this as a career choice. He used to laughingly tell me that he was in it to win it. I knew his real reasons, though: his family. He wanted to at least try to make it safe for them and others. We never tell people, but we all feel that way. Robert always felt it, and did it. The world took a loss when we lost him.

We watched D. Bob grow up into the fine young man he was. D was one of the most compassionate and respectful men I have ever had the privilege to know. He loved his family, his friends, and his community. D took special pride in his wife and boys. The world is a better place because he lived. God has a very special Angel with him today and our hearts our burdened with this great loss.
