To the family of Officer Terry Adams,
I was honored today to have had the privilege to carry Terry's Memorial flag at the GA Police Memorial Ride. I rode with his flag, and consider it to be a most humbling experience. Honoring your husband, father, son, and brother meant so much to me and all the other riders today. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers, and thank you for allowing me personally to carry his flag. His memory lives on! -God Bless You All

Daddy,
Things have all been a little bit more for me to deal with lately. There's alot going on, and I've been talking to you more and more each day... I have alot that I want you here for. College is about to start, I finally have my first job, and I am still thinking of you everyday... More than usual though.. I graduated, finally, and some of the family was there. It was nice to have some other part of you with me for once. Dougie brought his son, it's amazing how much has changed since we all lost you... I Miss You.. Alot.. And I Love You even more than that. Michael left something with you, I want you to know that you deserve it more than I ever will.. I Love You.
Your little shortcake.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the third anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace today. Thanks to your daughter and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections. Alex, I am sure your dad is very proud of all your achievements and you are already a heroine to me because of the way you are living your life.

Rest In Peace, Terry.

Daddy,
I have so much going on in my life that I wish you could be here for. I look at your picture everyday and try to think of what you would say to me if you were still here... I graduate this year, I am going to graduate with honors for you.. I start college in the fall. I plan on going to Statesburo to Georgia Southern. I promised you I was going to make you proud, and I am.. I am working everyday to be the daughter of an amazing man, and one day I hope to be someones hero just like you are mine.. I miss you more than I breathe and I think of you every second of every day.. You are the most amazing man I have ever had the pleasure of having in my life.. I will be with you one day, until then I know that you are in my heart, and I know that you are watching over me. I Love You more than you will ever know.
