My Heartfelt condolences go out to the family members of officer Sciullo.
Although I did not know Paul personally, I have only heard good things about him.

I sat on the sofa and cried as I watched the news, and each report was another stab in the heart. I will continue to cover the officers' loved ones in prayer. I wish I could do something to somehow make things better. A rookie my brother trained lost his life on a domestic abuse call. His friends now have a motto that fits here too: It's wasn't how he died but how he lived that has made him a hero. God bless you all.

To Officer Sciullo Fiancée, my heart is with you, since having seen the pain my daughter has and is still going through, since her and her fiance Josh Norris had gotten engaged on July 4th and he was killed asnwering a domestic disturbance on July 5th. As I told her, keep in mine there is no doubt of his love for you since he asked you out of some may others he could have shared his life with. Also remmeber you are still with us and do not dwell on what could have been, but remember the time that you had with him. You will never forget him and as your broken heart heals, smile that smile that he loved, laugh since I am sure he loved to hear you laugh and live since he would want you to live. Below is something which was sent to my daughter and hopefully it will help you during this dark time.

A LETTER FROM HEAVEN
To my fiance', some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from Heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through
God picked me up and hugged me and he said,'I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, They'll be here later on.
I need you here badly, you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.'
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night the days chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....In the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years.
Because you are only human they are bound to bring tears.
But do not be afraid to cry: it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you, you would not understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you, and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it by taking one step at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you to;
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night...."My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented...that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low:
Just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go...from that body to be free.
Remember you're not going...you're coming here to me.
I will always be with you!

Though I never knew him, he was part of my Law Enforcement family and I will mourn this deep loss the rest of my life. My heart aches with all the losses we have suffered, and continue to suffer, through the years. God is our only peace through such incidents & our comfort is the assurance that He will judge the guilty.

Another senseless tragedy
Another day of grief,
Another day of praying
To help us find relief.

Relief from bitter anguish
Relief from rage so great,
Relief from lenient justice
Which continues to seal our fate.

Relief from heartache’s torment
As we continue on,
Oh, the awesome loss of brotherhood
Now that you are gone.

Though our hearts are deeply broken
And our tears forever flow,
There’s a comforting assurance
That now with God you go.

We know that you are welcome
Now at Heaven’s gate,
While meeting brothers & sisters
Who also met such fate.

The family of Law Enforcement
Knows no distance here or there,
As we recall in comfort
You await us there.
