Reflections for Chief of Police Claude Hensley

Dear Grandfather,
What a loss your passing was to my father and the rest of the family. Your memory and bravery remains very much alive.
Great love from your grand-daughter,
Kriss

Claude was my great-grandfather. The policing profession lives on. Through my uncle (Florida Fish and Game, retired 27 years), my father in-law (LAPD 25 years), and myself (LCSO and HPD). Thanks to all those who have served and continue to serve and those who have given all; to their families, friends, and brother's in blue.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the one hundred and first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace
