"Greater Love Hath No Man Than To Lay Down His Life For Others"
Paul was a young, energetic, dedicated Agent when he came to Milwaukee's VCFTF who "knew the streets" and was an asset to the VCFTF. I was blessed to have been partnered with Paul during our stint in Milwaukee and loved every minute of work with him. He was a special man, devoted father, and a compassionate soul to those in need.
He was one of a rare breed!
I will miss you my brother in blue!
To his family and friends in Benton Harbor, be proud of the man Paul was - - he was truly something special!
God Bless.

Scott Ryan (Duty Disability - Ret.)
Milwaukee P.D./Milwaukee FBI VCFTF

I just got to know Paul a little bit but from our few conversations, his devotion and sincerity, as well as love for his family, was very apparent. I'm so sorry we didn't have time to develop a deeper friendship. He was an admirable guy.

For Special Agent Paul M. Sorce:

Each of us that enforces the law go to work expecting to make the world a little safer. Rarely do we consider that, beyond the possibility of an armed confrontation, we might not finish our day.

But, we work on one of the most dangerous battlefields of all - a United States highway. Each year the number of fatal crashes tallies in the thousands - while countless are injured.

It seems unfair that, considering the number of risks we take, it is a traffic crash that would take Paul's life. Yet, it is a risk among risks. It is our lot.

We regret the loss of SA Paul Sorce. We have lost a brother and we grieve for his family and friends.

To SA Paul Sorce we render a final salute.
