Your heroism and service is honored today, the third anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about how much joy you brought to those around you. It saddens me that you had to leave so soon and I often wonder how those you left behind are doing. I miss your presence here on earth but I know you are with God doing his work in heaven and looking in on those you loved.

I sadly just found out about Coach's accident at the very conference in which I met him two years ago. My deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and his law enforcement brothers/sisters. Your mentoring and friendship lives on and we will continue to remember your greatness.

Coach,
I thought of the fun times and cold cases that we worked together at VCTF. You were an excelent Agent but also a good Cop. I remember how much you loved your two little girls back then. After I left you got re-married and had a son. You were a good husband and father. You are a role model for many young Agents and Officers. There has never been a bad word said about you. You are missed by many people. May you rest in peace.

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues of Agent Sorce and we honor her distinguished service to the cause of justice and peace. Sadly, our nation has lost one of its finest citizens, a community has lost a friend and protector, and a family has lost an example of character and courage who they will love and respect forever.

To the family, friends, and colleagues of Agent Sorce, I would like you to know that a lot of people pray for you, and my hope is that their prayers will give you the strength necessary to move on. In the days to follow, may you be strengthened by the fact that Agent Sorce is distinguished by exceptional courage and will always be admired for her brave deeds and noble qualities. You, your family and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

For those who pledge to uphold it, Freedom requires a sacrifice the protected will never know.
