Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Captain Scott Michael Bierwiler

As a school resource officer in Spring Hill I seldom need to go to the main office but when I did I always stuck my head in Captain Bierwiler’s office to say “Hi, how are you?” He would look at me with a grin on his face and reply “I am fine, how are you?” Then he would go on to say, “You’re doing a good job out there, keep up the good work, we’re proud of you”. Captain Bierwiler was a very positive leader and an outstanding roll model that was loved by all. I can honestly say I have never heard anyone say a negative word about him. He was a wonderful man and an outstanding husband and father. I wish the whole world could have known him! We will always remember him for his gentle smile and his encouraging words. I would like to challenge every law enforcement officer to live as our Captain Bierwiler did, love and care about all of those around you with a positive attitude, and strive for success. To the Bierwiler family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we will be here for you for the long haul. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Once a family always a family, we love you!

Captain Bierwiler, the streets of heaven are too crowded with angels now that you have joined our Lord in watching over us, just as you did when you walked among us. Thank you for serving your country for the time that you did. We walk freely in this life and for the most part without fear, for we know there are people like you watching over us, guiding and protecting us. Though you are no longer with us, your presence is felt by every one of us, for you are an angel of God.

God Bless you and your family

God Bless the family and friends of Cpt. Scott Bierwiler. My prayers will be with you in this time of need.

AFTER THEY ARE GONE:
When someone we love passes away,
We ache, but we go on;
Our dear departed would want us to heal,
After they are gone.

Grief is a normal way to mend
The anguish and pain in our hearts;
We need time to remember and time to mourn,
Before the recovery starts.

Let's draw together to recooperate,
As we go through this period of sorrow;
Let's help each other, with tender care
To find a brighter tomorrow.
