I have left reflections before but not for someone I knew and considered a friend. I had the pleasure of attending the FBI National Academy Session 234 with Scott and we became fast friends. Scott was an amazing person and soon became part of the "Stoop Squad". CJ, Bill, Dario, Leesa, Gary, Tim O, Tim B, and I will never forget the time we spent together. We will all be praying for your family and the Sheriffs Office. To Scott’s family; while we were at the NA Scott constantly talked about you all. He was so very proud of his family and would not hesitate to tell you about them and what they were up to. I can only imagine how heavy your hearts are right now but please know that Scott loved you all more than anything else. I will truly miss you Scott and thank you because I had the pleasure of calling you my friend.

Mrs. Bierwiler & Children-

I had the honor and privilege to get to know your Husband and Father during the 234th Session of the FBI Nation Academy this past summer. I am absolutely at a loss for words! Scott is one of the finest persons I have ever had the honor to meet. He always had a smile on his face and positive things to say. He loved his family very, very much. He talked often about all of you and your swimming pool! He helped me out a lot with my new pool and gave me information I relayed to my wife back at home. My condolences, deepest sympathy & prayers to all of you during this time of grief. I am confident that I can tell you that Scott has nearly 250 Brothers and Sisters from his FBI National Academy class that stand ready to help you in any way that we can. May God bless your soul my brother! You will be sorely missed.
