Your heroism and service is honored today, the third anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect, and your memory will always be honored and revered. I pray for the solace of all those who love and remember him for I know both the pain and pride are forever. I hold his family in my heart's embrace today.

To his mom Susan, I share your anguish in losing a beloved child which surely has to be life's greaest sorrow and the hurt never goes away. A mother's love is fierce and unyielding and as I read your reflections, I feel your pain. Though we are thousands of miles apart, today I am with you in spirit.

Well sweetie I tried to send this the other day but for some reason it didnt post so here we go again..Joshuah Charles was born Aug 17 at 12:56 pm..7 pounds 11 ounces and 20 inches long..He looks just like your brother..I know Jamie and Sam are going to be the best parents..I wish you were here to share in my joy..How lucky you are to have a son and a nephew named after you. Or should I say how lucky they are to share your name..
