Your children are amazing. They amaze me every day! Your son is in college now and your daughter is on a fast track there as well. They both inherited your metabolism and kindness. Not a single day goes by that I don't wish you were here to call for advice or share something crazy they did. But it also makes me smile remembering all the ones we did have and how they would always want to "talk back" to you. Your mom keeps me sane. We all miss and love you so much, Domino.

So many of us miss you ... So many of us love you. I have so many questions about life and how to fix things and the list goes on and on. The life we all lived changed today ... 2556 days ago ....there is a lot I would change.... But I can't. So I will instead simply say ...I love you!

Daddy, you're a hero, in my heart and many others. Five years ago we lost you and we battle through the pain everyday. You made an impact in many lives especially in mine. You're my daddy and always will be. You will never be forgotten. I love you, Daddy. I'll see you someday.

Dom my friend it has been a long time sense i posted on here. Not because i have nothing to say but because it is to hard to believe you are not here any more. The old days out at Torrance County Detention Center (T.C.D.C.) where i first met you we would act as we where suppose to do just do our jobs and make sure we all go home. The day that will stay with me for the rest of my life and maybe you will remember it to August 17,1999 the day i was ordered to make sure nothing happened to you. I did my job that day and did everything to make sure you stayed safe as you went from C.O. TO DEPUTY SHERIFF i followed your every step during that time you and i had talks about you over doing things. The day you left this world was the day that i knew you where in the best place you could be. It is said the good die young. Continue your patrol my friend i will never forget you. One day we will meet again hopefully. May god and you continue your patrol's.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the third anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. As I read the refections of your co-workers , I pray for the solace of all those who love and remember you.

Rest In Peace.

Phyllis Loya
Mom of fallen California Officer Larry Lasater, Pittsburg PD, eow 4/24/05
