Our prayers are with the family of Sr. Corporal Smith during this very sorrowful time. No words can reflect our sympathy and nothing can explain the senselessness of this situation. Sr. Corporal Smith made the ultimate sacrifice, in the name of keeping the citizens of Dallas safe. Sr. Corporal Smith, you are now in the company of other fine men and personal friends of ours who have also given their lives in the line of duty--Justin Hurst, Scott Burns, & Michael Page. God Bless all of you, and may God give Officer Smith's family peace during this difficult time.

To Senior Cpl Smith's family, may Gods loving hand come and comfort you during this dark hour, but know that Norman is not far from you. He is the whisper in the wind, that feeling of being hugged when no one is there, he will always be at your side watching over ever accomplishment and catching ever tear that you guys shed. Your police family extends it arms to you, if this one from Louisiana can do anything do not hesitate to ask. God bless you and may he give you strength.

Saw you a few times at Lews. You were always laughing and joking with your partner the times i saw you. The way that Chief Kunckle described you is how i saw you. It is sad to see someone who was very dedicated to his job and community, be taken away. We have one more great angel in heaven. May God bless your family in this time of need. My prayers and condolences you the Smith Family.
