To The Family of Officer Samborsky,

I have been retired now for 5 years, started my career in Detroit and finished it in Arizona. I check ODMP about 4 times a week and just want to say, God Bless, and may Mason rest in peace. THANK YOU for serving as we all have Mason. A person that does not wear a badge or never has, will never know the lost we "in blue" feel every time an officer is slain.

May God Bless your wife and child and be with them forever!

Retired Officer JB

Words can't begin to express the pain that the Law Enforcement family is feeling today and will be left with for a life time. Your loss comes as a great shock to not only your brothers with whom you served alongside in Oak Park but throughout the State of MI. Two years ago, We were left with this same feeling when Dearborn Heights Cpl. Jason Makowski was gunned down in the line of duty and again in 2007 when we said goodbye to Officer Kozminski.
Officer Samborsky you have two great officers with who you are garding heavens gates with - although your loss is painful to us and your friends and family will never be able to replace you - you are in a better place. I hope you rest in peace and always know that your memory will never be forgotten nor will your sacrifice.
Thank you for doing the job you did. You were taken from your family and friends way too soon.

An Officer is not dead until he is forgotten - Never to be forgotten: Officer Mason Samborsky.

Rest Easy - your brothers have the watch from here. Gods Speed.
