I knew Brian from Gallatin Fire Dept.....I was always impressed by his passion for public service and safety.....I was also the engineer on the first arriving Engine and the scene of his accident....He will never be forgotten in this county and there will always be a void that he left behind.

You were related to one of my friends, and I met you a few times. You were a great guy, and I'm proud to say I'll be following in your shoes soon as a Hendersonville Police officer. God rest your spirit.

Uncle Bri,
I hate not talking to you almost everyday. Everyday I say something about you, laugh about one of your jokes, or just cry because of how much I miss you. You knew me better than I did. Thank you so much for supporting me and helping me in whatever I needed. You will forever be my best friend.
Love you more than words can say,
DK

I passed a memorial sign for you on the highway while on my way home from vacation this weekend. I remembered your name so I could look you up. My husband is a deputy sheriff here in Ohio for Marion County. I want your family to know that there will always be people who care about you and your sacrifice. You will be known to many because you died a hero. God bless!

Your heroism and service is honored today, the third anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I pray for solace for all those who love and miss you for I know both the pride and pain are forever.

Rest In Peace

Brian, Three years ago today we lost you...I still miss your visits to the school and hearing you talk about your latest interstate escapades! I pass the cross every day that marks the spot where we lost you, and every day I think about you. Keep looking out for us down here. See you soon brother!

Brian, you were to all of us not only a man of integrity and character on duty to protect us from the evil scum of this planet, but you were also a great friend that always made me feel most important whenever I visited with you and your bride. I have such a great deal of respect and admiration for you. I know I will see you again and next to Jesus and my step-father, you are the next face I look forward to seeing. BTW, we now have a black (shepherd/chow mix) but looks more shepherd and reminds us all of Uzzi...another great hero who stood by you 'til the end. See you one day brother.

I woke up in the middle of the night a few days ago after dreaming of you. We were talking as if you had been away for a while and I was giving you all the updates that had happened over the past two and a half years. I remember asking you where you had been for so long and thinking how great it was to see you again. It is funny how our minds work as I wish it was just that easy. We miss you my good friend. Take care of the Sheriff and Gods Speed to you both.

I didn't know you very well but I know alot of people that knew you and love you. I know that you were a very good man that touched so many lives. The way peoples' faces light up when they talk about you and exchange stories. How blessed everyone was to have you in their lives or to even meet you. Everyone misses you very much and their lives will never be the same from knowing you. Know that everyone carries you with them everyday.

My Dearest Family and Friends

Somethings I'd like to say but first of all to let you know that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from Heaven where I dwell with Our Lord above. where there's no more tears or sadness just eternal Love. Please don't be unhappy because I'm out of sight, remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and Night.

The Day I had to leave you when my Life on earth was through God picked me up and hugged me and He said I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again, You were missed while you were gone. As for your Dearest Family they'll be here later on.
I need you here so badly as part of my big plan. There's so much we have to do to help our Moral Man.
Then God gave me a list of things that He wished for me to do, and foremost on that list of mine is to watch and care for you.
I'll be beside you everyday and through out the years, And when your sad. I'm standing there to wipe away your tears.
When You lie in bed at night the day's chores put to flight God and I are close you in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on Earth and all the loving years, because your only human they are bound to bring you tears.

Please don't be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned, But if I were to tell you You wouldn't understand. One thing is for certain, though my life on Earth is over I'm closer to you now than I ever was before.

To My many Friends, Trust God knows what is best.I'm still not far away from you I'm just beyond the crest.

So, If you can help somebody who is in sorrow or in pain, then you can say to God at night my day was not in vain.
And now I am contented that with my life. it was worth while,Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.
If you meet somebody who is down and feeling low just lend a hand and pick him up as on your way you go.
When Your walking down the street and you've got me on your mind just know I'm walking in your footstep only a half a step behind.
And if you feel a gentle breeze or wind upon your face that's me just giving you a great big hug or just a soft embrace.
I will always love you from the land way up above We'll be in touch again soon
PS God sends his Love.
