Although I never met Officer Davis, I work with his sister Samantha. She has told me many wonderful things about Robert, how he had a strong faith and encouraged her to have strong faith. She said he was very successful and was her hero. We have lost a great man but heaven has gained. For everyone who has also accepted Jesus as their personal savior, we will see him again. We grieve not for Robert because he is happy in eternity. But we grieve for all that we have lost in his passing. I pray his wife will find peace in Jesus and know that she will see him again. Thank you to every police officer for your service and your sacrifices. We can never say thank you to you enough. You will never be paid, in this life, what you are worth to all of us. But great will be your reward in heaven!

Officer Davis,
My heart breaks for you family as I know how hard the road they started travelling on the day you were hit is. My first husband was also killed when he was struck while outside of his patrol vehicle. You will have an awesome view of all the Christmas lights this year from heaven. Give your family a sign that you are still with them even though they mourn for your loss. They will be in my prayers as will the other officer involved & his family. May God wrap his loving arms around your family & carry them on the days they can't make it alone.

To Robert's family, friends and fellow officer of the San Antonio P.D., I am an officer with the Aurora, MO P.D. and have been since 1998 and I remember meeting Robert when he was a volunteer FF with the city. Robert was always interested in the public sector of wanting to help people. I remember when Robert joined the USMC. It made me proud that he took that "BIG STEP" in his life. Robert will be missed by everyone who knew him and the lives he touched. Rest In Peace Robert, we will take the watch from here as you patrol the streets of heaven with our Heavenly Father. Please keep a close watch over all of us Brothers and Sisters in the Fire and Police service. RIP brother!!

Rest in peace Officer Baker!
I added a link to your memorial on my personal website. When LEO officers do die in the line of duty I decided to honor them by providing a link to their memorial from my site to the ODMP.
Each time one is reported I think it's a nice way to honor them.
I know you were a geat person and was well liked by all of your colleagues who will miss you a great deal.
Rest in peace.

Truly you will be missed by your family and friends. It always seems that the good die young. To the family don't be sadden by this cause we all are going to have to do it one day. Rejoice in his homegoing celebration cause he is with the almighty now and has no more pain and suffering to go through.
