Sad to hear about the loss suffered to Trinity County. I personally didn't know Sheriff Lee but knew that he was from Lumberton where I used to live. I wish his family the best and pray that the Lord remains with them.

Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God.

Jefferson County Texas Sheriff's Office

Sheriff,

R.I.P. brother, no one will ever know why things like this happen. We are dealing with a hard loss as well. The good lord took one away from us yesterday. I know you and my friend will be looking down and watching over all officers who serve daily. My prayers go out to you and your family.
