To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 93rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Mom of fallen California Officer Larry Lasater, Pittsburg PD, eow 4/24/05

Today marks the 92nd anniversary of your murder. While trying to keep America safe your life was taken. In the 92 years since, the problem of illegal immigration has only gotten worse. Your efforts to root out illegals, especially those who may carry illnesses into our nation at times may seem in vain, but the effort is an admirable one and you are a hero.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
