"But the souls of the just are in the hands of the Lord and no torment shall touch them.

They seemed, in the view of the foolish,to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction, and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are at peace".

Nate, your watch is at end. Those of us left behind must now carry on where you left off.

You represented your agency exceptionally well and your loss will be keenly felt in the future. This is your legacy to us, the "Thin Blue Line".

You now belong to the ages but you will always be with us as "Only those who are forgotten are truly dead".

Many in our department have shed tears over your passing. But we also have have chuckled while telling stories and remembering you and your impish grin.

Please watch over us as we protect those assigned to our care.

May the angels welcome you into paradise.

I remember you as a young and vibrant young officer at South Strabane. We worked together only once a few years back but when I saw your face I remembered you immediately. Your act of courage to keep others safe on our highways will not be forgotten.
