Daddy,
I am so proud of you. Of all the good you have done and for all you have taught me. This will be the third year come November since I lost you, and not a day goes by that I don't miss you. It has not gotten any easier, and there are still nights I lie awake and wish I could tell you I love you one last time or just hug you. I will always love you Dad, and I know you touched the lives of so many. You are my light and my soul. I will never be able to forget you, and all the things you taught me. Rest in peace Daddy, and know that I will always love you and be thinking about you.

My dad was the greatest man, friend, and father. He put us before everything, including himself. Not a day goes by where I don't miss him and think that if I could trade anything or do anything that I would do it, without a seconds hesitation. I miss him so much that some days I can barely get out of bed. When he passed away I not only lost my dad, I lost someone who filled the hole my mom left when she died, and my best friend. I don't know why my dad was the one to have to go, but I will never forget all the things that he taught me, or how when I gave up on myself, he picked me up and carried me through the tough times.
I miss you Dad. I don't know why they had to start a fight and make a scene, or why it was you that had to go. But I am so proud, and nothing can ever change that. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten. I love you, and I will always miss you. I am so proud to be your daughter. Rest in peace, you've served your life in hell already. Save me a seat up in heaven.

To the family and friends of Officer Russo and the members of the Schaumburg Police Dept.

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you have suffered when Officer Russo tragically died.

To Officer Russo's family, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in the Bay Area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace and for justice for Frank's death.

In reading his reflections, I can see that Frank was an amazing man who will be missed by many.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the service Frank gave to his community and the citizens of Illinois, and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on November 1, 2008.

My heartfelt condolensences go out to Officer Frank Russo's family. I met Officer Russo a few years ago at an AKF Awards Banquet in IL and he was the life of the party!! As a police officer I want to say how proud and honored I am of his service to his community, and that those who tarnish his memory on Blogs should be ashamed of themselves!! His actions should be commended not second guessed!

Frank's family has my support and best wishes during this difficult time. He brought honor to the uniform whether it was a Kyukido uniform or Schaumburg P.D. uniform.

I salute him as a police officer and fellow AKF Black Belt!

Sincerely yours always,

John Worden

Police Officer Frank P. Russo,

The circumstances of your death are most unfortunate. We regard you as a fallen brother who was ready and willingly did his duty as a true soldier-of-the-law. We regret the loss to our law enforcement family and want you, and your family, to know that if you had to die you did it with honor. You did it while serving the public and that is the essence of our sworn duty. Well done, officer, well done.

To you I render a final salute.
