Officer Bremer was called to assist a friend of mine some time ago. I remember him being a very kind, and helpful individual who really seemed to care about people. It was so long ago but he left such an impression on us that I instantly recognized his face and name. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends who along with many are feeling this huge loss.

Although I am not a fellow officer I had cause to interact with Ofc. Bremer on occasion in the local emergency room. He was a courteous and professional officer who displayed behaviours which should make his family and department proud. A fine human being who did his utmost to keep us safe, God speed and God bless.

Officer Bremer was an excellent officer. I offer my condolence to his faimly and co-workers. Mark loved his job, the type of person you just enjoyed talking to because he always had a positive attitude about every thing in life. I' ll never forget the day I found out Marks real first name " Richard ", he sat me down and schooled me about why he didn't go by " Richard ", I still laugh about our conversation to this day! . The Frederick Police Dept lost a great officer last night.
Mark, you will never be forgotten. Rest in peace brother.

Although I did not work directly with Mark, I overlapped with him often. He and I lived in Myersville and his children go to school with my children. He was dedicated and motivated. This is a tragedy for all of FPD, but for all of law enforcement as well. Sleep in peace Mark, your work here will not be forgotten. God Bless.
