Officer Bruce W. Harrolle,

We cannot fathom nor understand why anyone who is so well-trained, decicated and devoted to bringing about relief to others must be taken from us in such an unordinary way and manner. We question further why it is that some who are bent on bring others misery and destruction escape a just ending while those who bring the opposite must die. It is a question not only unanswerable, but perhaps one that only brings frustration beyond what we try to comprehend. Let it just be said that a hero died today. One who counts. One who provided the inspiration for others to follow him. One who makes all of us wish that we could have been like him and what he stood for. In that way, we are able to accept what at first appears unacceptable. A hero died today. That is something the good in us can understand and the bad in us envy for the rest of their lives. Officer Narrolle, a hero, whom I render a final salute.

Hey buddy, I only met you once when you flew our tactical team for a grow this summer. It was the first time I had ever flown in a bird. Not to mention the doors were taken off to save weight. I was so excited and terrified at the same time. I remember thinking how normal this was for you and how unique of an experience it was for me. I was instantly jealous that you got to do things like that every day... I have the greatest respect for how you served Flagstaff in your unique position. I'm glad I had the opportunity to cross paths with you. Look out for us brother. You will be missed...

Sir
I don't know where to begin. I once heard a phrase that said "hero's die but they are remembered, and we honor them with every good deed we do" You are a hero, someone that choose to make a difference in a very dangerous job knowing that anything could happen and going for it anyway. I know nothing said can comfort the family, the children and co-workers left behind. Officer Harrolle the State of Arizona and a greatful nation will be forever in your debt. God please be with the ones left behind.

I know from my son that you will be missed by all the DPS family. He liked and respected you and enjoyed working with you. He is hurting now like all the DPS family. We know your own family is especially asking "why" and we will never know that, must be a master plan after all, to take you so young. We all feel their pain, and send our condolences. You served the public well and that is truly appreciated, but now others will take up your work and you can rest and watch over them. Thank you from the parents of a DPS officer and pilot.
