I worked with Gilstrap at the Clarke County Sheriff's Office from 1995 to 1999. He always had a smart remark to make you laugh and was BRASS as hell. He was one of the best guys that I ever worked with and he will be missed.
Keep 'em in line till I get there for backup.

My prayers go out for all of David's family and to the S.O. as well. I knew David from several classes we have attended together over the years that I was with Polk Co. S.O. and I found him to be a great man and a good friend. I will never forget him.
