To the family of Officer McDonald. Our family shares your grief and pain. Our son Mike's EOW was on 9/14/08. What has helped us is the overwelming community support that we have recieved. Keep together as a family and be there for each other. Patrick and our Mike will be on the same watch together in heaven looking down on us.

Police Officer McDonald you are more than a colleague, I'm your sister in blue and I'm proud to call you my brother. Thank you my brother for your devotion to our family, your courage is admirable and you are an inspiration to us all. You have given the ultimate sacrifice for your fellow brothers and sisters, and every individual that walks this earth. Your watch down here may have ended however your new watch from above with our other brothers and sisters has just begun. Rest in peace my brother and continue to keep us safe from above as you did down here.

Pat, we grew up together and played little league sports together. Even though we haven't spoken for many years, your passing is hitting me very hard. My father coached you at LBYO, and he's struggling over this. All I can say is god bless you and your family.

"Final Call"

An Angel In The Sky Must Leave His Place Of Rest,
Gently Tucking His Wings Beneath His Armored Vest.
For Duty Has Called, There Is Much Work To Do
Little Did He Know, This One Is Dressed In Blue.

Arriving On The Scene, He Knows Just What To Say,
"Follow Me, Fallen Brother, I'll Show You The Way."
"Your Duty Has Ended, Your Work Is Now Through."
"Come Hang Your Hat Beside Mine, I'm A Cop, Too."

May you rest in Peace My brother, you will always be remembered.
