As a daughter of a former NC Trooper, a Cary Native, a former student of A.J.'s, and a co-volunteer of his at Cary EMS, I know that A.J. is deserving of all the glories that Heaven has to offer. He was a true public servant, serving not only as a Paramedic, but as a Marine and a State Trooper. To know the joy and heartache of serving his fellow man in all these capacities made A.J. the person that he was. Someone mentioned his attitude in Patrol school and I have to agree, I believe he was one of the most positive, caring people I have ever met.

Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints."

To all of A.J.'s fellow troopers, continue on in your calling to protect others, and know that we are grateful for your sacrifices.
Exodus 33:14 "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

To Trooper Stocks family, may all the peace, love and comfort of the Lord surround and protect you in the coming days.
Psalm 34:18 "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

RIP A.J.

Rest in peace Trooper. You served the citizens of North Carolina well. You gave your all, and no man could ask more of you. My prayers and thoughts go out to your loving family, your fellow Troopers and employees of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. They now have the watch here on earth, and will continue on in your honor. Heaven is a safer place today, for it now has another Trooper on patrol. 10-42, but not forgotten.

Master Trooper Jack A. Wise, Jr.
Virginia State Police ( Retired )
