DON'T GRIEVE FOR ME

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path god laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turn my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Task left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Than fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I, too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow,
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
I believe in God and believe I will see you again
Hope these few words will help you through the dark days ahead.
GOD BESS YOU AL

To the family and friends of Officer Nazario and the members of the Philadelphia Police Dept.

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you have suffered when Officer Nazario was tragically killed. I know that your department must be deeply affected by the loss of two dedicated officers within a span of five months.

To Officer Nazario's family, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in the Bay Area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous. When the killers of each fallen officer murders our loved ones, it has a devastating impact on all who loved and cared for them. I pray for your solace, but I also pray for justice for the victims/heroes and each of their families, friends and co-workers. Heaven may have another hero, but how I wish it wasn't so. Looking at her picture, I can see that Isabel was absolutely beautiful. Looking at her reflections, I can see that she was just as beautiful on the inside.

To the Family of officer Nazario
Your complete family are in my families prayers during this dark time. My family is just starting to make it thru a lost of our own with the death of my future son in-law Josh Norris. Isabel was taken to early and should of have had more time with you guys. I know words at this time will never stop the hurt, but know your Mom is not far from you, she is the whisper in the wind, that feeling of being hugged when no one is there, she will always be at your side watching over ever accomplishment and catching ever tear that you guys shed. What has helped my family and may help yours, remember your love ones laugh, her smile and all those things that are unique to her, since they are truly what made her. She is a true hero in every sense of the word and your police family extends it arms to you, if this one from Louisiana can do anything do not hesitate to ask. God bless you and may he give you strength.

Rest in peace Izzy. Watch over the rest of us.
This is one of the most senseless deaths of a police officer.
The only consolation is that she died doing what she loved and she was with fellow officers and not alone.
