Evan,

I can't even begin to describe the pain and sorrow that I felt when I got the news. Before today, I have never visited this site. I guess I just didn't want to be reminded how dangerous our job really is. And to see one of my closest freinds here tears me up inside and makes me realize just how vulnerable we all are.

I'll never forget all the good times we had while serving in the Marine Corps together and even after we got out. Although we went our separate ways, we always kept in touch and managed to visit each other when our busy lives allowed. To me, that was true and loyal freindship and I will never forget that.

You will be forever missed.
