I wanted to let you know how grateful I am for the friendship you gave to my family. My husband had so much fun on your "crazy" outings. You helped him solve all his "fix it" problems. You were a true friend. You were always there to support him. For that I thank you. My children, who lovingly call you Timmy, miss you so much. You were their best buddy. You worried about them just as much as we do. You took the time to play with them and always made sure they were happy. For that I thank you. I always knew that when Nick was not around, I could count on you for anything. You always included us in your life and for that I am eternally thankful. I will cherish all the memories. We will always remember you, today and always.

My friend Tommy, know that you touched my life in a very special way. You gave me hope when sometimes its hard to find. Never did I think I would find friendship at this point in my life like I found it with you. You were a great example in all aspects of your life. You made me want to be a better cop, husband, father and friend. You even brought me closer in my faith. For all this I can never truly repay you; and although I really don't make many promises, I promise you I will love and take care of Mimi and Mikayla Corinne as if they were my own. You were such a unique and diverse man, truly a genuine soul, I only wish we could have had more time together but I will always cherish the time we did have. I will sincerely miss you and have shed many tears when I thought myself I was uncapable of doing so anymore. Know that you will always live in my heart and although nobody looks forward to death i surely do look forward to the day that I can gaze upon you and smile, cause only then will I know I'm with my friend, Tommy.

Tommy words cannot display how sad I am that you are gone. Everyday that I wake up in the morning I look over at your picture and see your smiling face looking back at me and I known that you are in a beautiful place watching over Mimi and your unborn child. I know longer can talk to you face to face, but at night I before I sleep I have a chance to talk to you about the things that are going on in my life and I know you are listening. You let me into your life and I am a better person for it. I will always cherish the time that we spent together and places that we went to. You will always be in my heart until one day when we will see each other again. I will look after Mimi and the baby for you. Thank you for being my best friend.

Tom, we were seperated by a decade in years and I had several more years on the job but I still looked up to you and admired how you did the job. The department treated you poorly and it would have been easy to just say screw it and just do what you had to, but that was not you! You cared more about you brothers in blue then you cared about promotions. You never sold out or compromised your beliefs. It's not often in life you get to meet a person like you and I'm not only proud to say I worked with you but to say you were my FRIEND!! I will miss you!!

Hi Tommy. Today several of us were at your grave along with Yankee's pitcher Edwar Ramirez who drove down from NY to pay you a visit. It was an amazingly beautiful day at the cemetery to see so many of our friends and family present in your honor. Ramirez signed a baseball for our baby and will also be giving me a baseball signed by the entire team in your honor. I hope you realize just how much you were loved and will always be loved. You will always live in each and every one of us for all the days of our lives. We miss you. I miss you. I love you Babe!

For those that did'nt know Officer Raji, he had a heart of gold. He was always concerned for the less forunate in need and made it his business to assist anyone in anyway he possibly could. Tommy displayed no fear when faced with danger and "got the job done" when dealing with the criminal element. We worked together for ten years in the same squad and all I can say is Tommy, you are deeply deeply missed. Everyone knows I'm the "jokester" in the squad I'm the guy that just likes a good joke to pass on to make others laugh. Tommy was always one of the first ones to get a laugh and I so deeply miss being able to share them with him. How many times he would say "what do you have for me today, Joe?". He would laugh and tell me how crazy I am. Tommy I miss you, I shed many tears on my way to work, on my way home and when I least expect it. You were a great cop and the true defintion of a "street cop". Rest in peace Tommy, as your badge shined on your chest, you'll always shine in my heart.

To those who loved Officer Raji my heart goes to you all. Know that you're not alone in this journey you walk. I lost my fiance in the line of duty January 2003 and my world was forever changed. It's been a long hard road, and even as time as gone forward, and I've found many reasons and ways to smile, I still have not forgotten the man that he was. Dennis was a beautiful person and he forever has a part of my heart, just as I'm sure Thomas will always be a part of yours.

It takes a special person to put their lives on the line everyday to make this world a little safer for us all. I know many of these men never would've thought of themselves as "heroes" but they were in so many ways. It's sad that it they had to lose their lives for some of us to see that. Having said that, thank you Officer Raji for helping to make this world a better place. You will not be forgotten here in Winnipeg. I know this isn't a very manly thing to do, but if you happen to run into Dennis up there, please give him a big hug for the kids and I. Dennis was a good man and we miss him more than words can say.

Wishing those who loved you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne
