Your heroism and service is honored today, the 99th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Night Marshal Kipper - Two Fridays ago I stood in the State Assembly chambers when your name was one of the almost 250 read off during a vote regarding next month's Police Memorial Week. You are not forgotten. Thank you for your service to the people of Rocky Ford and the state of Colorado. May God grant you eternal rest and may his perpetual light shine upon you.

Night Marshal Kipper:

I was saddened to learn that your death and the death Chief Marshal Jesse B. Craig Sr. had gone unacknowledged for nearly a century. I am proud to have brought your untold story to light with the help of many Coloradoans.

Truly their service, dedication and sacrifice will now be memorialized. For complete details of the incident see - hbpoa.org - FALLEN TRIBUTES. May we never forget them, or any of our brave lawmen from yesterday, today or tomorrow.
