I see your face today as I patrol the streets
in the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard the angel say,
" Your work on earth is done."

I thought I heard your voice today,
then laugh your hearty laugh...
And then I heard the angel say,
"There's peace dear once at last."

I thought I felt your touch today,
in the breeze that rustled by...
And then I heard the angel say,
"The spirit never dies."

I thought I saw my broken heart,
while patrolling in the evening of the moon.
And then I heard the angel say,
"The Lord is coming soon."

I thought that you had left me,
for the stars so far above.
And then I heard the angel say,
"They left with wveryone's love."

I thought that I would miss you so,
and never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say,

"They're with you every day."
"The sun, the wind, the moon, the stars,
will forever be around, reminding you
of the love you shared, and the peace
they've finally found.

I am sorry for your loss.
Thoughts and prayers go out to you and her family!
Even though I did not know Detective Sandra Joyce Bullock; I was a police officer for thirteen years with many ups and down. I have experienced both personal and departmental loss; I lost family members, fellow officers, a K9, witness five young students crash and die; and much more in my years of law enforcement. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I am in total shock and hurt so deeply right now. Sandy was not only a co-worker of mine at the Lady Lake Police Dept before moving on to Bushnell Pd, but she was also my friend and we hung out many times after work and off duty. I knew her children. She was fun to be around and she was a dedicated law enforcement officer. My god I can not believe I am even writing this under these circumstances. It is Nov 5th 2009 and I had lost touch with Sandy but would see her from time to time at Walmart or the mall, and now I sat down to look up Chief Joyce Wells who is also a great friend of mine and instead I find out that Sandy has been killed in an accident. My heart aches and all I can say now is she will be truly missed but most of all, Sandy made a positive difference in this world. God Bless You Sandy..
