"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, "Here am I. Send me!'" -Isaiah 6:8

It takes a real hero to walk head-on into the hell that we all encounter at some point or another. Thank you brother for your sacrifice. May God bless your family and all those you served. We are grateful.

Some 15 plus years ago my son now an LEO asked," Dad what is a hero?"
A hero goes out into the night to face boredom or terror or aggravation even when he does not feel like going because his community or partners may need him.
He is best honored by the continued dedication to community and a just society by his family and friends.
May you be long remebered and honored Hero!

I graduated the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy with Dennis Compton, April 13 2007, Class 500. Dennis was well known and loved by all of his classmates. I have not seen or spoken with Dennis since we graduated over a year ago, but the bond formed with someone while going through the academy is completely unexplainable. Dennis was a good man, and will be missed.
