May God bless you and your family during this time of great sorrow. May the Arch angel take you under his wing and may you guide us from the heavens. You are a hero and your caring and compassion has made a world of difference. Your brothers and sisters in law enforcement will never let your memory or your deeds be forgotten. You are a warrior who has gotten his wings. God bless.

"No greater love has a man than this that he would lay down his life for his friends." Deputy Forgione was the epitome of this verse as he gave the ultimate sacrifice in protection of his partners and the people of Okaloosa County. Go rest high on the mountain my brother you have earned your reward. To your family may God richly bless you for the sacrifice your loved one has made and may someday God give you peace in your hearts as to why.

Tony, It is hard for me to grasp that you were taken away from us. I still don't believe it has actually set in. I keep thinking about the last time we talked and how I was suppose to call you, and the laughs that we all had. You are one of a kind my friend and you wore the uniform with honor, and it showed! I will never forget you Tony...never! I miss you buddy. We shall meet again.

To Tony's friends and Family, I wish I could turn back time, I know we all do. If there is ever anything I can do, please do not hesitate to call upon me, or any of us at that. I know you all are very proud of Tony, as you should be...we all are. May he watch over you as you watch over us "Horse". We love you.

Deputy Forgione,

I am sorry to learn of your tragic loss this morning. I lived in Okaloosa County for 13 years prior to coming to Brevard. I was a Sergeant with the Crestview Police Department and while you were hired after I left, I have many friends with OCSO. I will pray for your family and hope they have strenght to get through this difficult time. I will also pray for the OCSO family. May you all have the strenght and wisdom to do what must be done. I know loosing someone is hard, We lost Jeff McIntire in 97 to a traffic crash and that was the roughist shift of my my life. Stay Strong and Stay Safe.
