Reflections for Sergeant Richard Scott Findley

Hey Buddy,
Bad news came again...It kindda takes me back to the day when I heard the bad news about you. I dont think it will ever be easy. Kelly and the girls are doing fine. Talked to nicole today and she had a signature line on her text that said "I love jake" I thought that was pretty funny, then I said wait a minute Who's Jake..Im sure you got a kick out of that....Anyways, Im sure that you have taken Jensen under your wing and are FTOing(guiding)him through this rough time, just as you took me, edwards, frost, edge and scott under yours......I miss you and I'll stop by monday.

Thirteen months you have been gone, not a day goes by that we don't talk to you or about you. I pray for the strength to get through each and every day, people say that over time the pain will lessen, I don't know if that is possible. I know you will continue to watch over us forever. We love you!

Rich,

Your missed so much. It's hard to believe this month will be a year since you were taken from us.

Your 40th Birthday party was nice, I know you were smiling down on everyone. Nicole and Lauren are getting so big and Lauren (little Rich) looks more and more like you every day. Kelly is doing a really good job with the girls, she has such strength. I know you will continue to watch over them from above.

Rest in Peace Rich!

I never knew Sergeant Richard Findley personally, or even at all, but I distinctly remember watching his funeral from a far, while on my way to work in the morning. I live very close to the funeral home.
I recognize that being a police officer is a tough job, and a job that I recently am starting to conceive a career interest in.

I wanted to learn more about him and I happened to come across this website. This is a great website.
