A loss like this is never easy but he gave his life doing something so few would ever attempt to do and that is to handle inmates in a federal prison. I am proud to call Officer Rivera a brother in this career and send my heart felt condolences to his family. He has served and gave his life so that others feel safe at night knowing the bad guys are locked up and monitored.
